Creating Confident & Comfortable Smiles For Every Age
Dr. Marybeth Brandt
Dr. Marybeth Brandt has been serving patients in the Indianapolis area since 1994. A lifelong Indianapolis resident, she attended St. Richard’s Episcopal School and Lawrence Central High School before earning both her dental degree and completing her orthodontic residency at Indiana University .
Dr. Brandt is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Indiana Dental Association (IDA), and IDDS. Her clinical interests include interceptive treatment, utilizing growth modification when indicated, and clear aligner therapy.
Her approach to patient care is rooted in communication and engagement. Dr. Brandt believes that when patients understand their treatment and feel involved in the process, they become motivated partners in achieving outstanding results. She strives to communicate in an understandable way so patients remain engaged and confident throughout treatment. Her style can best be described as comprehensive, caring, calming, and conscientious.
Dr. Brandt’s journey into orthodontics began at just 13 years old when her own orthodontist explained the educational path required to become a specialist. She never looked back. Her personal orthodontic treatment not only gave her a tremendous confidence boost but also introduced her to what she describes as a rewarding and fun profession.
Outside the office, Dr. Brandt enjoys trying new recipes, reading historical fiction, pilates, running, hiking, and traveling with her husband, Mike—especially on one of his motorcycles when possible. She has also recently taken up playing Mah Jong. Having lived in Indianapolis her entire life, she is deeply connected to the community she serves.
