Meet Dr. Kelly
Creating Confident & Comfortable Smiles For Every Age
Dr. Kynnedy Kelly
Dr. Kynnedy Kelly is passionate about delivering patient-centered orthodontic care that prioritizes both long-term dental health and beautiful smile outcomes. A proud Indianapolis native, Dr. Kelly graduated as salutatorian from Cathedral High School before earning her Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University, graduating with highest distinction. She went on to complete both her dental degree and her orthodontic residency at the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Kelly is an active member of the InDent Study Club, the Hoosier Orthodontic Forum, and the Indiana Dental Association. Her clinical focus includes early interceptive (Phase One) treatment and comprehensive orthodontic care. She especially enjoys educating patients about proper oral hygiene during treatment to ensure they achieve the best possible results at the end of their orthodontic journey.
Her treatment philosophy centers on patient-first care. When treatment planning, she focuses on the biology of the teeth, bone, and gingiva to promote long-term stability and overall oral health . She believes that earning patients’ trust through open communication and dialogue is essential. Dr. Kelly prioritizes clearly explaining treatment options, benefits, and potential risks so patients and parents feel informed and actively involved in care decisions. Her goal is for every patient to feel comfortable, confident, and like a true participant in their smile transformation.
Dr. Kelly’s passion for orthodontics is deeply personal. As a teenager, she was a patient at Geist Orthodontics and had a wonderful experience with Dr. Davila and the team. She remembers the warm, welcoming environment, playing video games in the waiting room, and even earning Chick-fil-A milkshake coupons for wearing her office t-shirt to appointments. That positive experience, combined with her love for dentistry’s unique blend of science, art, precision, and patient relationships, ultimately led her to specialize in orthodontics.
Her achievements include receiving the American Association of Public Health Dentistry Award in dental school and winning 1st place in the 2025 American Association of Orthodontists Resident Case Display during residency.
Outside the office, Dr. Kelly enjoys traveling, beauty and fashion, self-care, music, tennis, photography, and spending quality time with family. She was born in Fort Wayne but grew up in Indianapolis and recently traveled to Ghana and Cape Town, South Africa. Growing up, she played piano, viola, and French horn. While she doesn’t have pets of her own, she loves spending time with her two “dog-nephews,” Egypt (a toy poodle) and Remy (an Aussiedoodle).
